The Plan Tour

Australia's latest hit, The Getaway Plan will be the main supports for Simple Plan's upcoming Australian tour. The tour hits the east coast + Perth in October.

Deez Nuts

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that JJ Peters is releasing Deez Nut's debut album Stay True in October. Finally we have a date, October 4th. Their on tour now, hitting most venues with Confession, who are also expecting to release an album in the coming months.

Severing Ties

I can see people spending a lot of money come October 4th, with both Deez Nuts and The Amity Affliction releasing albums. Amity are on tour throughout most centres during September-November.

Pues bueno Simple plan de siempre Ha sido un grupo que me ha gustado mucho, es uno de los pocos grupos que puedes decir desde, mi punto de vista, que todas las canciones que tienes son buenas.

Os dejo el video de "Your love is a lie"/" Tu amor es una mentira" que creo que es el single que tienen ahora y la cancion y la letra ademas son bastante buenas.
Tambien os dejo la letra en ingles y la traducion "by traductor" que sabeis que dice siempre algunas cosas raras pero vaya mas o menos se entiende todo perfectamente.

No dia 29/08 aconteceu a primeira festa do Meus Prêmios Nick 2008 em Porto Alegre, onde foi anunciado o vencedor da categoria Clipe Favorito e o Simple Plan foi o vencedor com o clipe de When I'm Gone!

Ao que tudo indica, um vídeo de agradecimento da banda foi exibido no telão durante a premiação.O award vai ao ar no dia 26 de Setembro na Nickelodeon.

Hier c'était le retour à la maison pour le groupe de musique Simple Plan et le plongeur Alexandre Dépatie .

A banda está concorrendo nas categorias Rock Out e Álbum do Ano, com Simple Plan.

Na categoria Rock Out a banda concorre contra bandas como Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, 30 Seconds To Mars e Fall Out Boy. Já na categoria Álbum do Ano, o Simple Plan está concorrendo com artistas como Britney Spears (Blackout), Alicia Keys (As I Am), e Coldplay (Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends), portanto votem bastante para que o Simple Plan seja um dos 05 pré indicados. A turnê pelo México contará com 03 shows que serão realizados no intervalo dos shows canadenses para a turnê pela Europa, que começa no fim de Outubro."

Então,não sei se você se lembram,mas o site do jornal "Zero Hora" de Porto Alegre publicou uma data onde o Simple Plan iria vir para o Brasil em Setembro .

E até agora tudo está se confirmando,o Simple Plan vai fazer uma pequena pausa da Turnê pelo Canada e fazer 3 shows no México....será que Simple Plan virá ao Brasil nesses próximos meses ???

Llegando ahí, nos dieron unos flyers de dos de los próximos conciertos que se presentarán en el Teatro Estudio Cavaret (que ya les había comentado previamente): Cut Copy (con Nuuro y Buffy) y Midnight Juggernauts. El precio es de $250 pesotes para cada concierto, pero si presentas tu boleto de Cut Copy al comprar el de Midnight Juggernauts, te hacen un descuento de $100 pesos. Estarán en la venta a través del sistema Smart ticket (que me han dicho es una patada en el trasero) o bien en tiendas Diesel y Bar Américas. Jo, me emociona tener información de algo así antes que Cuchara Sónica o Everything Live =P.

No sé cuando será ni sé donde va a ser, pero sé que va a estar bien chingón por que justamente el jueves estábamos platicando de lo bueno que sería ver a Plastilina Mosh en vivo y el viernes me entero del notición. A seguir ahorrando y planeando agenda...

Simple Plan está na estrada com seu terceiro disco, cruzando o Canadá nas próximas semanas, desde Newfoundland até Vancouver, antes de sacudir a Europa.

O novo trabalho fez com que o cantor Pierre Bouvier e seus companheiros de banda Jeff Stinco, Sebastien Lefebvre, Chuck Comeau e David Deserosiers entrassem em um território desconhecido, trabalhando com o produtor de hip-hop Danja, entre outros produtores. A banda teve que balancear esse desejo de partir para uma nova direção com o desejo de não deixar de lado a animação de sempre que fez com que eles vendessem cerca de sete milhões de disco ao redor do mundo.

Bouvier tirou um tempo de sua turnê para responder algumas perguntas do Leader-Post. Confira:

O que você espera da turnê canadense?
Está sendo maravilhoso. Nós temos três grandes discos e nós temos muitas músicas para escolher, e, claro, estamos juntos a quase 10 anos agora e eu acho que nossos shows estão ficando cada vez melhor. Agora estou ansioso para começar e, especialmente, para ir à minha cidade em Montreal.

Você ainda segue o pensamento de que vocês devem se desafiar todas as noites?
Eu acho que sim. Eu acho que nós sempre tivemos sucesso e nós estamos muito felizes com que aconteceu desde o começo, mas nós nunca fomos o tipo de banda que é como algo super-massivo e grande. Então eu acho que, em cada passo do nosso caminho, nós temos que continuar lutando para continuar com o que temos e para conquistar mais. Nós sempre sentimos isso, com todos os álbuns e shows que fizemos, sempre nos sentimos em desvantagem.

O quanto você melhorou como músico desde o começo até agora?
A maior diferença é se sentir bem no palco. Agora nós podemos subir a um palco em qualquer situação. Pode ser em uma sala vazia, uma sala pequena, grande, uma platéia que quer te ver, uma platéia que odeia seu jeito. Agora nós conseguimos contornar qualquer tipo de situação. Quando algo acontece em um show, mesmo que você falhe ou que algo com a platéia aconteça de errado, agora nós temos a habilidade de contornar essa situação e improvisar e fazer com que tudo fique bem.
Agora, seja lá o que pode acontecer, você sabe sabe que você pode transformar isso em algo divertido. Nós temos mais confiança agora, então ao invés de estarmos nervosos antes de tocar, você fica mais ansioso e feliz.

O processo de produção do novo disco foi longo. O que você aprendeu com isso?
Nós não tivemos limitações no que queríamos fazer. Não fomos obrigados em seguir um estilo musical ou um produtor ou um compositor. Demorou cerca de um ano para escrever e fazer as demos. Nós realmente tentamos pensar alto e fazer algo que fosse único para nós. Eu acho que foi muito divertido. Demorou mais tempo do que queríamos mas eu acho que no fim foi um acontecimento bom pois nos permitiu a fazer mais experimentações e ver o quanto poderíamos avançar como banda. Então, para nós, essa foi uma boa experiência de crescimento e foi bom para a banda.

E se acontecesse de vocês fugirem, simplesmente desistirem de tudo? Seria o fim da banda?
Talvez tivéssemos fugido, demoraria apenas um mês e desistiríamos, talvez tenha se tornado em algo grande pois nunca ficamos afastados por tanto tempo. Talvez tenha sido o melhor para nós, quem sabe? Mas eu não coloco regras em nada. Eu acho que as melhor músicas do disco são aquelas que escrevemos no fim do processo.

Como você se sentiu quando vocês levaram o disco de platina?
Eu fiquei bem ansioso e chocado. Você sempre fica nervoso quando você lança um disco, especialmente se o anterior foi tão bem. Você fica com muitas expectativas vindas de si mesmo e dos fãs e da gravadora, então sempre é uma pequena prova de nervos quando o disco é lançado. Mas ver que ele está indo bem em diversos lugares ao redor do mundo, é sempre ótimo. Quando terminamos o álbum nós nos sentimos confiantes com as músicas. Nós sabíamos que tínhamos feito algo bom, então não ficamos muito preocupados com isso.

As novas músicas parecem estarem prontas para serem tocadas ao vivo !Sim, elas são divertidas. Eu acho que com esse novo disco nós temos mais escolhas. Nós temos vibes diferentes e diferentes estados que podemos mostrar no show, portanto será divertido. É uma experiência melhor no palco para nós e para nossos fãs.

Me de uma idéia da dinâmica da banda - de quem é o cara responsável, o que faz coisas que são fora do normal.
Chuck é, definitivamente, o cara dos negócios. Se tivéssemos um empresário de negócios na banda eu acho que seria ele. Jeff é o nerd da guitarra, tudo o que ele faz é praticar o dia todo. E David é o louco. Ele gosta de fazer gracinhas o tempo todo e fazer todos rirem. Sebastien é alguém que agora está se tornando o cara divertido da banda, ele é o comediante. Então nós todos temos personalidades diferentes e isso funciona, é como se tudo se ligasse.

Nu stiu cati stiu dar eu sunt o mega fana Simple Plan. :X:X Si dupa cercetarile mele am observat ca nu prea sunt fani in tara. Asa ca vin eu si le fac reclama. =)) Dupa parerea mea sunt foarte tari [daca e careva anti-Simple Plan, nu-mi sariti in cap. =)) Gusturile nu se discuta. :) ] Stilul de muzica? O combinatie intre rock, punk si pop. Ar trebui sa ii auziti cantand live. Mie imi plac foarte mult pt ca ma regasesc in versurile lor. In marea majoritate canta despre adolescenti si problemele lor sau doar probleme.. din viata de zi cu zi.

Asta e ultima lor melodie, "Your love is a lie". E grozava. :)
